Deployment Descriptor contains information for all the beans in the “ejb.jar” file.Deployment Descriptor
enables ejb container to provide implicit services to enterprise bean
components, these services can gain your bean with out coding. Deployment Descriptor is a
XML file.
Deployment is an intermediate step between coding a bean and executing a bean. By using a deployment descriptor, some attributes of the bean implementation are specified by the deployer, and implemented by the platform provider.
