5-7 years of work experience in Software Development
The candidate must have 5+ years experience in large-scale software development, with at least 1 year in HBase is a must and with at least 4 years experience in developing and debugging in Java/J2EE on Linux platform.
Deep understanding on Cloud technology
Deep understanding and related experience with Hadoop stack - internals, HBase and Map/Reduce
Experience in designing and implementing big data solutions using Hadoop technologies (HDFS, HBASE).
Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills, particularly those that apply to a "Big Data" environment
Sound knowledge of Relational Databases (RDBMS), SQL & No-SQL databases
Exposer to streaming technology ( XMPP/Kaazing/Lightstreamer) is an big advantage
Experience in conducting code reviews and help improve quality through early detection
Agile model (SCRUM) understanding & experience
